About me
I got into software a long time ago, purely out of fascination with technology and a wish to build things that make life simpler.
For the past 10 years I've been happily building fast, scalable systems that people actually use. These days I'm a T-shaped engineer: broad across the stack, deepest in backend and DevOps.
Three of those years put me on the other side of the audit table, building SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR controls inside engineering teams. Cloud config, access management, logging, the evidence auditors actually ask for. It taught me what it takes to make controls real in a codebase, not just written down in a policy.
These days I also run a small independent practice. Teams ship faster than ever, and compliance is often what stands between a working product and an enterprise deal. I help close that gap, a few engagements per quarter.
I also love mentoring junior engineers. Watching them grow and shine is one of the best parts of the job.
When I'm not working, you'll probably find me on the volleyball court.
